تدور أحداث الجزء الثاني حول قصتين متوازيتين؛ الأولى: تتعلق بالابن (مايكل كورليوني) في الخمسينيات من القرن الماضي، بعد نهاية الجزء الأول؛ إذ يسعى للتوسع في نشاط عائلته في أماكن جديدة مثل لاس فيجاس، وهوليوود، وكوبا. والثانية: عودة للماضي لتاريخ الأب (فيتو كورليوني) وطفولته في (صقلية) بإيطاليا في بداية القرن العشرين، هجرته لأمريكا مجبرًا وتأسيسه لعائلة كورليوني الإجرامية في مدينة نيويورك.

مع اشتداد موسم العواصف، تتقاطع طرق ملاحقة العواصف السابقة "كيت كوبر" ونجم وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي المتهور "تايلر أوينز" عندما تنطلق ظواهر مخيفة لم تُشاهد من قبل. يجد الاثنان وفريقاهما المتنافسان أنفسهم في مسارات أنظمة عواصف متعددة تتلاقى فوق وسط أوكلاهوما في معركة من أجل حياتهم.

The boss of the Hung Hing gang, Tian Sang, has died. Ho Nam and Hon Bun find Sangs younger brother, Yang to lead the gang. Meanwhile, Hon Bun receives news that his younger brother, a leader of the Tuen Mun gang has been assasinated. They travel to Hong Kong to settle the matter.
